I don't "do" Halloween

I have never liked Halloween. Ever since I was little, I always felt awkward in costume. All it took was one person to ask, “What are you supposed to be?”, and I wanted to go home.  When my older girls were smaller, we didn't do Halloween.  Between me just “not liking it” and the pagan and witchcraft history I learned over the years, we just (ok, I just) didn't want to do it.
Well I have mellowed over the years I guess; It doesn't really bother me anymore.
This year I went down to Tucson to visit Ren and Tessa, I spent almost the whole week sewing costumes for their Disney themed Halloween party. Renata was Ariel and Tessa was Esmeralda.  It was a lot of fun and they looked amazing.

Last year, after Halloween I picked up this cute Rapunzel dress for Sophia. I gave it to her for Christmas to put in her dress-up box.  Well it fits so perfectly this year.  It was Ren’s idea to make my own wig from yarn.  It too, came out adorable.

So I guess I now “DO” Halloween.
